==The original text==

The play appears to be a work written for performance by children or puppets, and is set in Southern Africa, featuring a range of speaking animals among its characters. The [[Afrikaans]] dialogue also utilises some [[Khoi]] and [[San]] terminology. 

A set of 9 copies of the text were found in the [[Stellenbosch Drama Department]]'s theatre archives and 1 copy is now held in the [[Performing Arts Research Collection]] ([[PARC]]) at the [[Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation]], with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
