Tatsie is an anthropomorphic play text by an unnamed author.

The original text
The play appears to be a work written for performance by children or puppets, and is set in Southern Africa, featuring a range of speaking animals among its characters. The Afrikaans dialogue also utilises some Khoi and San terminology.
A set of 9 copies of the text were found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department's theatre archives and 1 copy is now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
