John Gassner's modernised version was produced by [[Beth Dickerson]], presented by the [[Rhodes University Drama Department]] in April 1969 starring [[Felicity Whitcher]], [[Frantz Dobrowsky]], [[Ian Walters]] and [[Stephen Gurney]]. Music by Professor Georg Gruber. It was presented in a double bill of two comedies, the other being ''[[Menaechmi]]''.
