The original text

Utilizing contemporary music, it explores the life and controversies surrounding the revered poet and playwright, exploring his time in the Netherlands, his views on politics, religion, the Broederbond, Verwoerd, and... the girls represented in the cast.

Based on a book by J.C. Steyn, adapted by Albert Maritz and his cast as a radio text featuring three performers. The piece was researched, compiled and edited by Maritz in collaboration with Tinarie van Wyk Loots, Frieda van den Heever and Erica Wessels.
