Wittakker se Laaste Trippie is an Afrikaans play in two acts by Anlen Marais (1953–)

The original text
Set in the harbour of the fishing village of Waenhuiskrans it was written as an ode to the late Dr Wittakker, an English anaethetist, who used to go out fishing with a group of local "coloured" fishermen. In an interview with Roline Norval (Oosterlig, 23 Maart 1989), Marais described the piece as "post-protesteater" ("post-protest theatre") or "teater van versoening" ("theatre for reconciliation"), with undertones of protest against the political situation in the late 1980s.
The play was submitted for the 1989 ATKV Kampustoneel festival.
The text is unpublished, but a copy of the typed text of the submitted play was found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department archives in 2022.
