The original text
Drawing on Baganda rituals on the interaction of deities and human beings, the play tells of two peasants who decide to invade God’s sanctuary to plead for rain, thus bypassing and angering Kirabira, God’s assistant.
Originally written 1970, published 1975 by Alexander Street Press.
