Vusisizwe Players

Founded by Phyllis Klotz and Vusi ??*** in 198*. Their first workshopped play, You Strike a Woman, You Strike a Rock was later toured and published under the name of this company. The Vusisizwe Players: From Cape Town. They performed at the Market under Phyllis Klotz’s direction in You Strike the Woman, You Strike the Rock starring Thobeka Maqutyana, Nomvula Qosha and Poppy Tsira in December 1986, and returning in early 1987 before touring Europe and North America ****
