He created Men-Jaro (1996 & 2006), and choreographed Passage (1999).
Awards
Vincent Sekwati Mantsoe won AA Vita Dance Umbrella Pick of the Fringe and Most Promising Male Dancer Award in 1992. He won IGI VITA Dance Umbrella Pick of the Fringe Choreography Award for Gula in 1993. He won FNB VITA Young Choreographers Grant and created Hanano Blessing of the Earth in 1994. Mantsoe won Standard Bank Young Artist Award and his Gula Matari won First Prize at the 1st Contemporary African Dance Competition in Angola in 1995. He won FNB VITA 1995 Choreographer of the Year Award for Hanano Blessing of the Earth and, in 1996, was a prizewinner of the Vth Rencontres Choreographiques Internationales de Bagnolet, Seine-St. Denis, France for Gula Matari and was awarded an Achievement Award by the TASA Corporation. He was prizewinner of the VIth Rencontres Choreographiques Internationales de Bagnolet, Seine-St. Denis, France in 1998 for Hanano Blessing of the Earth. In 1999 and 2001, he was awarded FNB VITA Best Choreographer and Best Performance by a Male Dancer.
