Valmont de Saint Priest, of De Schipbreukeling ("Valmont the Saint Priest, or The Castaway") is an original Dutch play by J. E. de Witte van Haemstede (1763-1853).

Performance history in South Africa

1834: Performed in Dutch on 13 September by Vlyt en Kunst in the Cape Town Theatre , with Castor en Pollux ( by "an amateur" - i.e. Boniface) as intermezzo[1], and Nog Net Zoo (Boniface).

1835: Performed in Dutch on 14 March by Vlyt en Kunst in the Cape Town Theatre , with De Helleveeg (Loosjes).
