‘’Under the Roses’’ is a children's theatre play by Darryl Nel (1972-).

The play is about a group of insects living in a rose garden who have to overcome their differences to defeat a bigger threat.

Performance history in South Africa

1994: The play was presented by The Good Fun Company at schools in East London, Port Elizabeth, at the Rhodes University Theatre in Grahamstown and around the Cape peninsula in early 1994, directed by Darryl Nel, with the following cast: Darryl Nel, Adrian Poulsen, Likhaya Ngandi, Neil Borland and Cal Volks.
