Twee Oude Gekken in de Klem, of Het Neefje van de Heer Pompoen ("two old fools in a bind, or the nephew of the Mr Pumpkin") is a one act comedy by T. van der Stempel (fl. 1860s).

Also found as Twee Oude Gekken in de Klem, of Het Neefje van de Heeren Pompoen and Twee Oude Gekken in de Klem (and ascribed to J. van der Stempel in the latter case) in F.C.L. Bosman (1980)

Not to be confused with Flik en Flok, of De Twee Rederijkers in de Klem by W. Metz.

Described as a character piece ("karakterschets"), it was most probably written for use by the Rederijkers.

Performance history in South Africa

1871: Performed as Twee Oude Gekken in de Klem by Aurora II in the hall of the Germania Hall, Cape Town on 23 September, as an afterpiece to De Boodschapper op Loevestein (Kroon)

1881: Performed as Twee Oude Gekken in de Klem, of Het Neefje van de Heeren Pompoen by Aurora II in the hall of the Oddfellows Hall, Cape Town on 1 December, as an afterpiece to Stille Jan (Arnold).
