The Inner Circle is a play by Patricia M. Loughrey ()[1].

The original text

Originally written as a one-act educational play about AIDS, set in a high school, that premiered at the New Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco. (Subtitled: "An HIV Prevention Drama for Teens".) Later expanded to a full-length play. It has since been viewed by over three million teens in over 550 productions worldwide by 2019, including productions in Australia, Canada, Holland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, the U.K. and the U.S.A. Translated into Afrikaans, Dutch, German, Spanish.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Afrikaans as Tussen Vriende ("between friends") by Lizz Meiring. Performance text first published by DALRO in 1991.
