Probably born in Beaufort West, he was the brother of Mathilde de Beer
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As an amateur he performed for Hendrik Hanekom in Beaufort West in the early years, notably appearing in Magrieta Prinsloo in 1922.
