The Wrong Mr Wright is a play by George Howells Broadhurst (1866–1952)[1]

As it was written and first performed in the USA, the title is often found in the American grammatical form as The Wrong Mr. Wright.

First performed at the Bijou Theatre, New York on 6 September, 1897.

Filmed as The Wrong Mr. Wright[2] in 1927, directed by Scott Sidney.

Performance history in South Africa

1900: Performed by the Herbert Flemming Company as part of an extended season in the Opera House, Cape Town.
