The White Train
by A.J.A. Wilson. The play deals the visit of King George VI to South Africa in 1947, who travels through South Africa on a white train. Issues like the Anglo-Boer war, South Africa's participation in the two world wars and Anglo-Afrikaner relationships in general form the basic themes of the play.
