A five act play by J.D. Kestell written under the pseudonym Leinad. Also known as The Rebellion of Slagters Nek (Butcher's Nek). The play is about an episode of 1815 in the Cape Colony. The author chose the Shakespearean tragic mode and the play is written in blank verse.
