The Monkey's Paw is a one act play consisting of three short scenes by W W Jacobs, an English author of short stories and novels (1863-1943).
His most famous play is "The Monkey's Paw" (1902).
Performance history in South Africa
1941: Performed by the Grey High School Dramatic Society in the De Waal Hall, Port Elizabeth]]. Starring: Gerald Stock (Mrs. White), George Woodman (Mr White), Colin Philip (Mr Sampson), Douglas Crocker (Sergeant-Major Morris), William Wilson (Herbert).
