Performances in South Africa

1825: A production was planned for rehearsal by the English Theatricals in Cape Town in July, but it appears that the show was then postponed (and eventually cancelled) when a certain Mr T. Hammond, who was apparently part of the cast members of the proposed production, unhappily committed suicide in July 1825.
