Performance history in South Africa

1938: Produced by Leontine Sagan for the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society in the Little Theatre, 25 March to 1 April 1938.

1944: Produced by the Johannesburg Repertory Society, staged at the Standard Theatre, produced by Carol Levitas, starring Maurice Horwitz, Ronald Morris, George Ormsby.

1949: Presented by the Repertory Theatre Society, later known as the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society at the Labia Theatre, 15-24 September 1949.
