The Defiance Campaign

A campaign of civil disobiedience launched throughout the country in protest against the Nationalist Government’s new racial laws on 6 April (Kruger, 1999)/26 June (Brits, 1995) in 1952 by the Non-European Unity Movement , the South African Indian Congress, the Franchise Action Committee and the African National Congress.
