Sue Diepeveen
Sue Diepeveen (1969-) is an Somerset West based actress, voice over artist, drama teacher, director and theatre maker.
Also known as Sue Simpson Diepveen.
She went to school at Discovery Primary School (1975 – 1981) and Florida Park High School (1981-1986). She wnet on to study at PAW (Performing Arts Workshop) (1987-8), the first non-racial school in the country in the 1980’s, and then continued her studies in England at London Academy Of Performing Arts (1988-1990) and Trinity College of London (1994 – 1995). When she came back she ran a drama teaching studio with 300 children, while raising her two daughters, and wrote and taught, did eisteddfods and so on. Passionate about drama training in schools, teaching kids about theatre, and an appreciation of theatre.
When she turned 40 she decided to get back into acting herself.
Her film acting included roles in Skoonheid (2011) and Honey 3: Dare to Dance (2016).
She founded the drama school Speech Focus in 2010 and founded The Drama Factory in 2015.
