The play deals with two groups of young people whose lives revolve around the flamboyant lifestyles of two drug dealers operating in the neighbourhood and the attempt by one of the groups to break away from the drug culture by opening a car-washing business.

Performance history in South Africa
The first performance was given in the Sanlam Studio at the Baxter Theatre on 11 September 2000, presented in conjunction with New Africa Theatre Association. The production was directed by Dorrian Aitken-Hodge, with Portia Mpama, Viki Mangaliso, Anita Ndevu, Andrea Dondolo, Tiny Tebeho, Matsau ka Ngaleka and Mandlesizwe Lufele, with dance sequences by choreographer and dancer Vusi Ngema. A project of the Baxter's New Writing Programme.
