Speculeeren, of Misdadig uit Kinderliefde ("Speculating, or criminal on account of love of a child") is a Dutch tragedy in four acts by J. Broekhoff (fl 1870s).

F.C.L. Bosman (1980) has it as Speculeren, of Misdadig uit Kinderliefde.

Probably written for performance by the Dutch Rederijkers, as are most of Broekhoff's plays.

1883: Performed in Dutch as Speculeren, of Misdadig uit Kinderliefde in the Oddfellows Hall,Cape Town, on 9 October by the Rederijkerskamer Aurora II, with De Onbekende Schoone (Broekhoff). This evening under the patronage of President Paul Kruger of the Transvaal and his deputation.
