The House with Twisty Windows is a one-act play by Mary Pakington (1878-1956).

The original text

The play deals with events surrounding the Bolshevik Revolution during which British subjects were held in and eventually escaped from a gloomy cellar.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Afrikaans by Léonie Pienaar entitled Skewe Vensters ("skew windows") .

Performance history in South Africa

1948: Skewe Vensters performed in May by K.A.T., directed by Percy Scholtz.
