Biography
Training
Simone has attained her Fellowship through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London. Simone continues to train internationally to ensure that her skills remain current. She recently trained with Ruben Sanchez (Europe), Heather Rees (UK), Alison Forrester (UK), Old Kent Road Tap Company and previously Aaron Tolson and Germaine Salsberg in the US.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Simone’s career in the Dance Industry expands across Teaching, Choreography across a range of media, Production Management and Adjudicating. Stage works include: All The World’s A Stage, Cinematic Motion, Dancers Love Dogs, Baxter Dance Festival. Simone also choreographs extensively for corporate events.
Simone heads up the Tap Department at Waterfront Theatre School, teaches Modern Theatre Dance and trains Tap Associates.
