Biography
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He appears to have been a member of Sefton Parry's company at the Cape Town Theatre at this time and is specifically named as performing a comic dance on 18 June, 1860, as part of a "Grand extra night for the benefit of Mr James Lawson". The rest of the programme included Luke the Labourer (Buckstone), Fortune's Frolic or, The Ploughman Turned Lord (Alingham), and a "Highland Fling" by Miss Powell.
