Scrappy van Hulsteyn

(1897-1970) The first stage name used by South African born actress and director Margaretha van Hulsteyn (later better known as Marda Vanne).

She used her childhood nickname of Scrappy van Hulsteyn during the first world war period (1914-1818) when she first worked in theatre as a member of Stephen Black's company.
