Samespraak (plural Samesprake) is an old Afrikaans word meaning "talking together", i.e. a "conversation" or "discussion", and is derived from the Dutch word Zamenspraak.

In terms of theatre it can have two meanings

Samespraak as a dramatic form

This refers to a duologue or a play (or poem) for two people, often used for satirical purposes

Samespraak as the title of a play

A number of dramatic works (e.g. plays, poems or pieces of prose) have been titled zamenspraak or samespraak , or have the word as part of the title.

The following have a link with South Africa

Samespraak by E. de Vos

This is a dramatic sketch in Afrikaans for boys.
