It was funded by Robert Amato, a liberal industrialist and founder of the Imita Players and Sechaba Players, and edited by Mango Tshabangu and Robert Mshengu Kavanagh (both members of Workshop '71) until 1975 when the editorship was handed over to the poet and playwright, Sipho Sepamla.
