Performance history in South Africa
1853: Performed as Rozella en Guido, of Het Recht der Natuur by Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst in the Bree Street Theatre, Cape Town on 28 April ( repeated on 3 May). The afterpiece was De Lotery Prys, of No. 2,5,3,8, (Hoare). The company wrongly claims - at least in the case of De Lotery Prys - that "Beide Stukken zullen voor de eerste maal op het Kaapsch Tooneel vertoond worden" (i.e. "the two works are seen on the Cape stage for the first time").
1866: Performed as Rozella en Guido, of Het Recht der Natuur by Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town on 28 November. The afterpiece was Het Zal Laat Worden (Meyer).
