Rosa
Rosa, a Cape Malay dance musical by Zulfah Otto-Sallies, developed into a theatre production with the motivation of the South African Malay Cultural Society, the script developed by Akiedah Mohammed. Rosa is set in the early 1800s in the Cape under Dutch rule. The play takes place largely in the coutyard of Madame Luke's Estate.

The Bo-Kaap Production was presented by the Baxter Theatre in 1995 directed by Fred Abrahamse, choreography by Achmad Ockards, set and lighting design by Brian Collins, costume design and co-ordination by Jack Marsh, music by the Bo-Kaap Productions Cultural Band. The cast: Nadia Adams as Rosa, Noel Oostendorp, Jacqui Scheepers, Nino Reid, Abeedah Medell, Amina Solomon, Ray-Yaan Nordien, Sulaiman Agherdien, Ghalieb Ebrahim.
