RooiKôppitjie

RooiKôppitjie, a pantomime loosely based on the story of Little Red Ridinghood but this multilingual Cape version is set in Stellenbosch. The Mayor (Frank Opperman) is the wolf who is constantly trying to flirt with his redhead secretary. The hero is Butch, a young wine farmer in the area. Also featuring Shaleen Surtie-Richards and Blaise Koch. Performed at the Spier Summer Festival, December 2001. (Source: Die Burger, 15 December 2001)
