Subject
Set in the early days of the new democratic South Africa, the musical focuses on the lives and interactions between the staff in a busy city roadhouse run by a black owner.
Performance history in South Africa
Premièred in the Pieter Roos Theatre at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre, directed by the playwright, in May 1994 and went on to the Grahamstown Festival 1994.
