Born the daughter of N.P. van Wyk Louw and Truida Louw,

She was married to fellow journalist Franz Kemp (1938-2011)[1]

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

As translator she was responsible for texts like Vrede Tuis (an Afrikaans translation of La Paix chez soi by Courteline),
