Pretoria Theatre for Children

Inspired by Cobie Court, the Pretoria Theatre for Children was founded in 1958 in the Baker Memorial Hall.

Productions

1959: Court also produced the first production for the PTC, Beauty is Fled by P.V. Carroll on 16/17 October 1959 with pupils of the Hatfield Primary School.

Other productions include: The Children of Camp Fortuna, The Princess of Tartary by Daniele Vare (Min Sack – prod).1959, Little Gipsy Gay by Molly Masters & Evelyn Wales, The Land of the Dragon by Madge Miller (Min Sack -prod) 1961. The Stranger by Brian Way.
