Peggy Pryde
Peggy Pryde (1869-)[1] was an English music hall comedienne.

Biography
Born in 1869, she was the daughter of music hall singer, Jennie Hill[2].
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She first visited South Africa with Harry Rickards[3]
She was in Cape Town again in 1904, performing as a member of the Tivoli Theatre company or a member of Frank Fillis' Circus, and is mentioned as one of the solo participants in the Bloemfontein Flood Benefit (a matinee benefit performance for the sufferers in the disastrous flood in Bloemfontein), put on in the Cape Town Opera House on 28 January, 1904, by a company brought together for the purpose by Grant Fallowes.
