(“Paddy”). (19*-) Actor, singer and radio announcer. ** First stage appearance in Anthony Farmer’s musical Ever Since Eve (1958), *. While being a newcomer to the theatre in 1958, he won the ‘Voice of South Africa’ competition a couple of years later and, through radio, became a household name.
