One for the Road to Damaskus is a bilingual (English and Afrikaans) play by Temple Hauptfleisch (1945-).

The Afrikaans version of the title is 'n Loopdop op die Pad na Damaskus

The original text

A full length, bilingual (English and Afrikaans) play about a fictional meeting between the young C.J. Langenhoven and an elderly Mark Twain in Cape Town in 1896, when Twain visited the city as part of his circumnavigation of the globe.

Written with a grant from the National Arts Council in 2002, the text is unpublished, but a hard copy is held by the Performing Arts Research Collection at the Africa Open Institute of Stellenbosch University (Hauptfleisch dontation). A digital version of the text is also available online in the LitNet Spens under the Afrikaans title 'n Loopsopie op die Pad na Damaskus.
