Nomsisi Kraai

KRAAI, Nomsisi. (19**-) Actress and theorist. A member of the executive of the combined PET/Shiqomo Organisation which produced Mthuli Shezi’s Shanti in 1973. She played the lead of “Shanti”. In September 1973 she published an article on What is Black Theatre in the PET Newsletter. Arrested and charged under the terrorism act in 1973, she went into exile. [Kruger, 1999: 144]
