Stage Company (1966-1968) was a theatre production company established by Shirley Firth and British actor-director Angus Neill.
Theatre and productions
They took a two year lease at the Intimate Theatre doing only three productions, starting with a revival of André Roussin’s comedy The Little Hut (1966), followed by The Creeper (1968) and ending with another revival, T.W. Robertson’s Caste, under the title True Hearts Are More Than Coronets (1968). Neill now left the company, though Firth kept the lease on the theatre. This would lead to her partnership with Pieter Toerien.
