First performed at the Royal Olympic Theatre, London, in 1847(?) and the Park Theatre, New York in 1848. Published (as The Minor Drama No XXXII) by Samuel French in 1848(?)

1876: Performed with great success by the Disney Roebuck Company in the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town, on 7 September with Little Don Giovanni (Byron). (The author given as "P.O.W." by Bosman)
1876: Performed again by the Disney Roebuck Company in the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town, on 21 September, this time with A Young Rip van Winkle (Reece).
