(Kippie) (1924-1983) [1]. Jazz musician.

Legendary musician, who played in the Johannesburg Townships and at Dorkay House. He featured in productions such as Saunders of the River (Sanders of the River?) and King Kong (1959).

He is the subject of Mothobi Mutloatse's play Kippie staged in 1997.
