Modjadji by G.H. Franz (1896-1956). Published by Afrikaanse Pers 1957. A play about the life of the rain queen, Modjadji, who asks for everlasting life in this world for which she forfeits the right to procreate. Through this explores the religious and social life of the Balobedu people.
