Mitchell Park or Mitchell Park Zoo (also known as Mitchell's Park). Situated in the Morningside suburb of Durban, South Africa, it is the only zoo in Durban.

History

The zoo was established as an Ostrich farm in 1910, but was unprofitable and started adding other animals.

Several productions have been staged (open air) in the Park over the years, including:

1968: Navidad Nuestra

1985: The North Pole Wrapping Room (presented and performed by New Awareness Though Drama Group).
