(18**-18**) Amateur performer.

Probably born in Cape Town to a Swiss immigrant father and a British immigrant mother, possibly the sister of Louis Henri Meurant.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

A member of the amateur society Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense in Cape Town in 1825.

In 1825, as a child, she was apparently a member of C.E. Boniface's society, Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense. In that year she appeared for them as "Lucille" in in Moliére's De Burger Edelman, "Geertruida" in De Pixérécourt's De Vrouw met Twee Mannen, and "Miss Godrey" in Foote's The Liar.
