Die ("The Marais Drama Group"). Founded by P. Marais in the 1950s and toured the Western Cape for a number of decades with only one play, Anker van die Lewe ("Anchor of Life") written by P. Marais. Hugely popular, it dramatised a life of evildoing, ending with a deathscene.
