The company

Originally known as Frans Swart Produksies CC, the company Lefra Produksies was founded in 1995 by Frans Swart as the name under which Frans Swart Produksies CC henceforth traded.

The Kappityt Festival

The Kappityt Festival (Afrikaans: Kappityt Fees)[1] (These festivals also referred to as the Kappityt Arts Festival or the Kappityt Kunstefees.)

The festival takes place on board the cruise ship MSC Sinfonia

The Oppiwater Kunstefees

The Oppiwater Kunstefees ("On the water arts festival") is a shipboard Afrikaans arts festival organised annually by the radio station RSG and the entertainment company Lefra Produksies in the various venues on the MSC Orchestra (and other MSC ships, such as the MSC Splendida) during the coastal cruise between Cape Town and Walvis Bay in Namibia since 2015. The festival offers more than 30 performances of all genres over the course of the five days.
