Luthando Mthi (?- ) is a South African opera singer.

Biography
He was born in the Eastern Cape but grew up in Benoni. He returned to Cape Town where he matriculated and began his drama studies in 1998 with the Community Arts Project.
Training
In 1999 he joined New Africa Theatre Association to further his drama studies from where he went to the University of Cape Town (UCT) and completed his Performer’s Diploma in 2002.
Contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance
Theatre and opera credits include: The Mysteries - Yiimimangaliso (South Africa); The Magic Flute - Impempe Yomlingo (South Atrica, West End, UK, Ireland, Japan, Singapore); A Christmas Carol - Ikrismas Kherol (Cape Town & London); Woza Albert (Marta Theatre, Czech Republic); Madiba Magic (2003, Rhodes Theatre, Baxter Theatre Centre); Elephant of Africa (Theatre for Africa); Witnesses (2005), Crooked (2006), Hamlet (Artscape); Orfeus (Bunfight Theatre Co); On 'Nest Bo! (Magnet Theatre); Groundswell (2005, New Africa Theatre Association). Other work includes: Good Rubbish (2002), Third Coming (2004).
