Lori-Ann Preston (1973-) is an actor, children's author, playwright and educator.

Biography
Born Lori-Ann Schlimper.
Her bother is actor and singer Clayton Schlimper.
Her books include:

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As an actress, she has appeared in Why Strelitzias Cannot Fly (1991).
Several of her children's books have been adapted for the stage:
- Trixie, adapted by Preston and directed by Amanda Bothma (2020). The production was halted due to Covid restrictions.
- Thabo the Space Dude, adapted by Preston and produced by Ticket to the Moon Youth Theatre (2023-2025)
- Fab Farm, was adapted for the stage by Jen Bryson Moorcroft (2025).
