Limelight Press is a publishing house founded by Michael Brooke
Also found as The Limelight Press and Later known as Limelight Publications.
The company
Founded by Brooke in 1972, to publish The Limelight casting directory, and over the years, the company expanded to include information on companies and individuals involved in every aspect of the entertainment/performing arts industries in South Africa, publishing the the companion volume called Contacts to this end. Later the business also developed online versions of the two publications, through its website at http://www.limelight.co.za/
Other material published by the company over the years include a variety of calendars and other publications.
In 1985 they published The Breytie Book: Essays on South African Theatre (Ed Temple Hauptfleisch) as a tribute to P.P.B. Breytenbach. (This was published under the name The Limelight Press, and sponsored by Adcock-Ingram Limited.)
In 1998, following a 10 year history with the company, Barbara Entressangle acquired ownership of Limelight Publications.
